I think the unknown bulb on the left is Moraea tripetala. I just planted one that I got from Annie’s Annuals. http://www.anniesannuals.com/plt_lst/lists/search/lst.srch.asp?prodid=691&srch_term=moraea Cheryl -------------- Cheryl Renshaw Landscape Designer From: medit-plants-request@ucdavis.edu [mailto:medit-plants-request@ucdavis.edu] On Behalf Of Carolyn Stone Your second unknown flower looks like Brodiea capitata. Carolyn Stone, Sonoma County, California From: m*@ucdavis.edu [m*@ucdavis.edu] On Behalf Of Nancy Mueller Hello all Here's a link to a webpage of photos from our garden this month. http://www.winterwarmfarm.net/MeditBotGardenMarch.html At the bottom of the webpage are photos of two purple-flowered bulbs of which we do not know the names. Both plants are about 25 cm tall and both flowers, 4 to 5 cm across. If you know what they are, or find any mistakes, please do let us know. Thank you. Nancy Mueller |
