There are a lot more than 28 plants prohibited into Germany. Because of the Xylella fastidiosa virus, which affects olive trees in Italy, the EU put out a huge list of plants now prohibited from entry into the EU.http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/HTML/?uri=CELEX:320015D0789&from=DEIt includes everything from citrus trees and coffee bushes to stinging nettles. Maybe Germany is easier, but Portugal requires a phyto certificate for any seeds from outside the EU.Wylie
