Re: Poisonous plants

Heres a great example of eating poisonous mushrooms without being trained to
find the right ones> A girl in i think Modesto( anyhow it was near San
Francisco) ate poisonous death cap mushrooms that she and her family had
collected thinking these would be great in Spaghetti. She had to have a total
liver transplant because of this. Now i am told that Death caps are one of
the poisonous fungi that actually tastes pretty delicious. There are just so
many things out there that are poisonous. I think if you plan to live with
nature, you had better be sure nature plans to let you live :). In other
words, everyone who lives naturally or at least like plants should take the
initiative to recognize poisonous things. I had in fact Deadly nightshade
growing in my fron yard for some reason ( bird may have brought it in)
