Re: orange flowers

Here are a few of my favorites, in no particular order:

Red Hot Poker  (Kniphofia) -- offers a dramatic vertical accent.
Butterfly Weed (Asclepias Tuberosa) -- blooms attract butterflies. 
Hybrid Tea Rose -- "Tropicana" is vivid orange, and very fragrant.   
Oriental Poppy (Papaver Orientale) -- "May Queen" is glorious.
Asiatic Hybrid Lily -- "Cinnabar" is a splendid red-orange.
Dahlias -- "Bishop of Landaff" is excellent in this color scheme.
