Someome mentioned Grevillea superba. A couple of other grevilleas
with excellent orange flowers are G glossadenia (or its hybrid with
G venuta, called G "orange marmalade"), which grows to a meter or two
with mainly winter flowers, and G johnsonnii, which flowers year
round but may be a bit too tall for you (2 to 5 m).
