Imwas lucky enoughto be able to treat myself to some crocus bulbs at
a yellow book garden in Feb and they have become the envy of a few of
my pals at my garden club. I was persuaded to sell a few of them but
wanted to keep the rst of the bulbs in the little collection.
I notice that Galanthus elwesi and G n "Magnet" and G atkinsoni have
developed fat seed pods. Would these be worth passing to my pals?
Any tips for growing these plants from seed would be appreciated. TIA
Now I now thwt Madeira is not Mediterranean but someone on the list
was talking about interesting plants on one of the Canary Islands not
so long ago.
So forgive me if i ask about anything worth seeking out in Madeira
when i go next week. ( My third visit so i have *done all the
maingardens etc but wouldn't mind an easy levada walk or something
similar)
TIA
