CAn anyone tell me the pros/cons of planting a young cork oak (quercus
suber) in the middle of a lawn? I was at a park tonight where there were
cork oaks growing in a lawn and it looks just fine (and old.) I have a
young nursery-grown tree ready to be planted and a hole in the middle of my
lawn where an apple tree croaked. Can I combine the two?
Thanks!
Nan

So goes an old chinese proverb:
If you want to be happy for a few hours, get drunk;
If you want to be happy for a week-end get married;
If you want to be happy for a week, barbeque a pig;
If you want to be happy all your life long become a gardener
