Heres a little more about some of the wildflowers blooming right now in
Marina ( near monterey) As i was getting gas, there is a field right
next to the gas station. In the file right now are some very nice
lupines blooming. Looks like blue speckled with white. When they get
polinated then it will be a field of blue ( or purple) very very
beautiful.  The owl clover, clarkia,chinese houses, skunk flower,
California poppies, and lupines ( sky and Bush), Mariposa lillies,
Brodiaea, and Blue eyed grass should be a sight for those fortunate
enough to go into the more secluded areas  of ft. ord, not to mention
those that live there!
