Hi Brad -
I was finally able to get the information about Bible gardens from the
gentleman at our church who researched the topic for our church.  He
collected a variety of "bible" plants and had them on display at Easter
time in 1995 for a one time display.  He used the following references:

*Plants of the Bible* by Moldenkes, 1941, Dover 

*Bible Plants for American Gardens* by Eleanor King, 1941, MacMillan
republished by Dover in 1975 (Jerry Heverly has just offered this one to you)

He also found that the Church of the Wayfarer in Carmel CA has a Bible
garden that is some 40 years old, and currently being renovated.

Sunset magazine did an article in Jan 1941.
