Cottage gardening English style

No need to beat the breast out West! Here in dry alkaline Santa Fe, over
the past 10 years, I have found that many traditional cottage gardening
plants do well on drip irrigation: wallflowers, stocks, delphiniums,
pinks, carnations, pansies, lavender, honesty, balloon flower, certain
foxgloves, penstemons, babys breath, obedient plant, snapdragons,
bouncing bet, Greek valerian, hyssop, the sages, thyme, chamomile,
bronze fennel -- one could go on and on.
