Roses of Yesterday and Today

I thought this firm had folded, but it looks like it was merely
reincarnated. I found this up-to-date information on the web. When I
called the phone number provided, (831)728-1901, they did not seem to
indicate that they were still sending out old 1996 catalogs with a new
pricelist (as is stated elsewhere on the page) - perhaps they ran out?
I have some old catalogs I have kept for many years as they have such
nice descriptions and interesting stories. Hopefully they will be able
to produce these again in future.

from the Roses of Yesterday and Today website
(http://www.rosesofyesterday.com/):
"We are back in business after two years of retirement, and still we are a
family affair. Patricia and Newton Wiley retired after running Roses of
Yesterday and Today for over twenty years. The rose business was
established by Francis E. Lester in the 1930's, continued by Will Tillotson
from 1948 to 1957, and carried on by Pat's mother, Dorothy Stemler until
her passing in 1976.
"Beginning Mother's Day of 1998, some of their children, the third
generation, have reopened the business as Roses of Yesterday. When you
visit or call you will probably be speaking to the Wiley's eldest son, Andy,
their fourth son, Jack, or their friend and helper, Guinivere(jenny).
"The Roses of Yesterday and Today Garden, which has developed with the help
of four generations of the Wiley/Stemler family, has more than 230 rose
varieties. Since we just restarted the business last year, please bear with
us until we are able to get up to full speed with our selection as well as
the production of annual catalogs. We are directing people to our website
as most of the information in the catalog is now on our website and we are
able to keep availability current on a weekly basis."
