Liz,
I too received my seed allocation from Bot. Soc. of South Africa - 16
packets of which nine were Watsonias, (really looking forward to seeing
these develop) My un-asked for, 16th. packet is Bridelia micrantha,
apparently of the family Euphorbiaceae. A tree, according to the description
on the list, with large, glossy, dark green leaves, bright Autumn colours;
small, yellowish flowers in Spring and edible black fruits. I have
researched all my books but cannot find it listed anywhere. I'll just go
with the list description and hope it fits in with Irish conditions.
Pity about the CITES restrictions on some of the items.
Best of luck with your sowing.
