Re: Lavender seed source in UK?

L. 'Grosso' is either a hybrid (if the 'X' portion of its name is correct), 
or a cultivar of L. vera.  Either way, it won't come true from seed; your 
folks need a plant grown from a cutting.  Sorry to be the bearer of bad 
news :-(.  On the positive side, it should be readily available at any 
reasonably large local garden store, or mail-order (for example, richters.com).
