Carol,
Have you got a Los Angeles Public Library card? the central library has a
copy of wild food by Phillips. If you have a card, you can reserve the
book over the internet (www.lapl.org) and have the book sent to your
nearest branch. It's free and usually takes about 4 days. You can check
on the internet when the book has arrived and they will also phone you.
The system has a BIG and updated collection of books on gardening and
related topics. Whenever a garden related book comes in on reserve at my
branch, they know already that it's for me :)
