RE: evergreens for wet soil?

Title: RE: evergreens for wet soil?

Diane,

You might try Nerium oleander. It grows on riversides and by springs in its native haunts in the Medit basin. There's also a large, shrubby New Zealand Pittosporum sp. that does well near the sea in S. England (I forget the name, can anyone fill in?), where the climate may be similar to the Victoria region.
