Allessandra,
I have seen it growing in light shade at the Strybing Aboretum in San Francisco, so it will probably do OK in your tropical house. I have some planted in full sun, and it grows vigorously, but, contrary to the reports of others, mine begins to wither if not watered regularly. Try leaving it where it is and see what happens.

if I see it becoming floppy and pale, I will move it outdoors immediately. Do you think I should do it without waiting?
