Robin:
Try short tubed small flowered members of the Lamiaceae and Verbenaceae.
Agastaches, Thymus, Satureia, Nepeta, many of the small-flowered Eurasian
sages (like verticillata and nemerosa), Aloysia, Vitex are examples.
Grevilleas work well also as do many borage family plants.
Alliums collect lots of bees as well.
