Re : Lavandula multifida vs. L. pinnata


Well done John ! Here in Europe there is a major confusion between =
Lavandula pinnata, L. minutolii and L. x christiana (L. multifida x L. =
pinnata). The fact that the canarian species easily hybridize doesn't =
help.=20

For those who are not familiar with it, it is interesting to note that =
Lavandula multifdida's foliage has a strong smell, surprising and very =
different from the usual lavender fragrance, rather like an Oreganum.
