Hi, What they do here in Ibiza is put the fruit in a sack along with some
sand and then toss the fruit in the sack ...this effectively removes the
little spines,which I know to be very nasty if you get them in your
skin...sort of a cross between fibreglass and thorns...the fruit is
delicious though
