Hi,
My new Butia, nearly 2m tall in its pot, has been kept in a
shady, sheltered position in the nursery. Any advice on getting my palm
established in an open, sunny (until 3pm 'ish) location. It is about to
flower, should I remove the flower stems?
When transplanting Washingtonias and Pheonix' here in Spain,
all the leaves are tied up to assist establishment. This would be rather
difficult to do with a Butia...
Kind regards,
Maria
