THere are two small pretrunk juvenile Butias in an
industrial part of nearby Seaside. It's among the
"automall". I've got my eye on them. Though, it may be
years before they fruit.
Such a shame, it's a perfect medit-plants palm and
very different from both the Canary Island Dates and
the numerous ratty Fan Palms here. One street in Santa
Barbara has a wonderful row of them too (was there
this weekend).
