Has anyone
any experience of the lovely Queen Palm (Arecastrum Romanzoffianom). I
want to plant one in an area near our car park where we had a pine tree and now
the root/stump has nearly decomposed. Will I have to tie up the fronds for a
year or so. I have seen newly planted Washingtonias with tied up fronds.
I would be
grateful for any information both negative and positive about this
palm.
Also, I
am considering Cupress Arizonica Fastiga for screening. It has such a
lovely blue colour!. These will be planted in very large containers.
4/5 ft high X 4 ft wide for each tree. Have others planted cupress
in containers and if so is there any advice for me? Pruning,
suitability etc., thanks
pamela
