I won't blame a seedex for providing wrong seed as I've bought commercial seed that turned out wrong too (sometimes advantageously - the grandkids loved all the baby pumpkins)
I've just dumped hundreds of opium poppy seedlings which were supposed to be meconopsis.
Now I'm looking at anything that seems to be growing too vigorously. How about all those cistus, for example? They're shrubs. Shouldn't they be slow growing and a bit tough instead of lush and soft?
I sowed them last November. C. albanicus germinated recently and may be OK. But these are rather similar, fast-growing and soft-leaved: laurifolius monspeliensis salviflorusinflatus collected in Spain is also soft, but is growing from all the leaf axils so is definitely shrubby in form.
