Re: plant ID request

Nancy,

It is purple toadflax - Linaria pururea. The flowers are like tiny snapdragons. It volunteers around here, sometimes on roadsides. It is a perennial. I also have a pink form.

Subject: plant ID request

Hi Everybody

We found this volunteer in our Southern California garden.

The plant is about 2 feet (60 cm) tall. Can anybody identify it for us? Thank you.
