Ernie,
Years ago, at Blake Garden in El Cerrito, Calif., there was a 'Tower of
Jewels' (I thought Echium wildpretii) with red flowers....but all I have
been seeing recently, as you describe, is the one with pink flowers. I
haven't seen it at Blake Gardens in years, so is it just a fantasy or was
it real?
