Dear Gay & Medit Plants persons,
Your descriptions of the fall garden chores remind me that we have an
Australian mathematician and his wife and daughter visiting the Univ. of
Calif. at Berkeley mathematics department this spring. They experienced
spring in Australia in Oct-Nove and came here in January. Now they are
delighted to have a second spring, one filled with wildflowers all over
California while they are here, because of our wet El Nino winter.
How wonderful to have two springs in different hemispheres! I wish we all
could do it at least once. My husband and I are looking at our own
wildflowers with new eyes when we go out with our visitors.
Enjoy your letters,
Elly Bade
