It's good to know you have got home safely from those wild parts!
I must say I haven't heard of Henry Price here, either as the name of a
Leptospermum or in any other capacity.
However, the only reasonably recent and reliable check-list I have is
seven years old, so it could be a real newcomer.
I don't think many L scoparium cultivars originate in Australia, they
work mostly with other species, such as rotundifolium, which tend to be
a bit on the tender side for cooler parts of New Zealand (and so,
presumably, Ireland).
My guess would be that the Irish are responsible. (guilty, yer Honour??)
