Thanks Rod, and everyone else who gave sugestions. Anyway i think the
local weed extermination group here in Ft. Ord should watch this plant. So
far it seems to be within the built up areas of Ft. Ord, but i suspect it
could get out into the chapparal areas easily.   Same think with Albizia
distachya, which is occasionally seen in Ft. ord. In fact near my
Universities new baseball field, there is a very tall one of these growing
right up against a building.
