Brambles

Charles, local farmers resort to routine bramble burning in order to
protect/enlarge grazing areas. I used to look on this practice with
horror until I realised just how quickly everything greens over with the
first rains. I suspect control by fire is pretty much nature's intended
control anyway. Not really the answer in a closed garden environment but
possible with care if the overgrown area is separate from other plants.
