Re: Acacia
Charles, your letter made me smile ironically. I suppose I was in a great
hurry, as usual these days, because I also write specieS - Why did I smile?, I
hear you ask. A few weeks ago I was at a dinner party and a prof. of English
the Tas Uni was sitting next to me and complemented me on my Suite101 page. I
glowed with pleasure until he asked me "Why do you gardeners always refer to
specieS, there is no such word. All the other scientific writers always refer
to specie when using the plural" I argued with him but there you are.
BTW What is species money?

NEW ARTICLE: May article:
My article, this time, describes a magical Autumn Day in
the country garden at "Kibbenjelok". The sun shines and
the stillness and quiet is almost uncanny
