I have tried many hours unsuccessfully to get my computer to not send an
attachment. The attachment consists of the header and tracking stuff and has a
windows icon. I have a Mac at home and it doesn't do this. Also all my email
comes in with an the same attachment. It's labeled RFC-822.TXT. I don't open
them.If anyone can tell me (via private mail so as not to bore the list) how to
make this go away I'm all ears (eyes?) I have tried every preferences menu I can
find...

Sean, thanks for posting the notice on attachements. I am one of those
whose computer cannot handle them. I get about 8 pages of gibberish, and
the download time frequently jams my computer so badly that I have to try
several times just to get the rest of my mail. I have often wondered if I
am downloading virused programs, it gets so bad, but there is no virus
there in the end, just somebody's unintelligible attachment. It's enough to
make me consider quitting the list when it occurs. Please, all, heed Sean's
words.
