here grape pressings are fermented and then boiled to extract the remaining alcohol. I am not aware of any chemical treatment. they should be good for your garden

Hi William

I too have been offered some grape pressings, but these have further been used to make the local firewater 'raki'. Does anyone know if that process destroys the goodness in the pressings or are they still just as full of organic gooness?

Subject: wine pressings

Has anyone had experience with using wine pressings as mulch? I am the happy recipient of some. Central coast California. g*@cruzio.com
