Bee bush is an Aloysia, I think maybe Aloysia gratissima, but I'm not sure.
There are two types of Aloysias that grow very well in the Sonoran Desert.
I've seen both at the Tucson Botanical Gardens and keep meaning to plant
one or the other because they are wonderfully fragrant when in bloom (long
sprays of small white flowers, not spectacular visually but nice) and
definitely bee magnets!
I know I have this information in gardening books at home, so will see if I
can find better information tonight and forward it to the list tomorrow.
