I got confused (not hard for me) and guess what, the Vinca minor DID make it through the 18 months of no water. It didn't look fantastic but was a live and trying to recover after the rains in June. I know my Vinca major is a water sucking pig and couldn't go five minutes without being watered, don't recommend it for drought conditions. Linda
