One way to deal with this list is to remain subscribed, but NOT receive the
e-mail items. In this way, your mailbox will not fill up with the group's
postings, but if you ever wish to respond to the group or post a message,
you can do so without re-subscribing. You can review the group's
discussion at any time using the following web page archive:
http://www.mallorn.com/lists/medit-plants/
To setup your subscription in this manner, you use this command:
set medit-plants mail postpone
This 1-line message MUST be sent to LISTSERV@UCDAVIS.EDU - this is the
listserv software program that will act upon your request.
To remove yourself completely from Medit-Plants, use the normal listserv
command
unsub medit-plants
Again, this command must be sent to LISTSERV@UCDAVIS.EDU as mentioned
above. If you have any questions or problems with this, please let me know.
