Many thanks for bringing this to our notice. It is the aspect of the
current situation which I have found the most worrying. Only when
effective ways of resolving conflct other than straight retaliation can
be devised will we have any hope of lasting world peace.
Unfortunately, in the current state of the world this seems as though it
may be a long way off especially as far as major conflicts are
concerned..
