Thanks for the leads, especially "Desert to Jungle" --
I'll check them out.
I've already perused the current lists of San Marcos
Growers, Rosendale Nursery, Monterey Bay Nursery, and
Suncrest Nursery. Most are friends of mine.
As for finding plant sources on the web, I have a long
"bookmark" list of the web sites of (mostly) wholesale
nurseries. I've almost memorized their URL's. So
when I put in a plant name and do a GOogle search, I
can see a familiar URL within the long list of found
sites pretty quickly.
The list I posted to this group were plants I could
not find at about 75 nurseries with web sites. If any
of you are interested, I could post a list of the best
of these wholesales (most in California, some in so.
Oregon).
