Most of the reason i advocate eradicating poison
hemlock is because it's so damn ugly and the smell of
the flowers on a hot day is nauseating to me. Yes,
it's all about me :). Also, they tend to form such
dense thickets here that they crowd out better
(native) plants from getting a good foothold.
I agree public awareness is the more practical means
of poison prevention, why when it was pointed out to
me how to avoid poison hemlock, i made sure to stay
away from it whenever i'd see it.
