<<I saw some nice plants of the 'Eve Case' variety but from my research it might not get tall enough for me - I need at least 5ft height.>>
Marilyn,
'Eve Case' is a beautiful variety! And it will easily reach 5' -- in fact, at the nursery where I work, our signage says 4-8 feet, "easily shaped for hedge, screen or accent". It's berries are large & showy, too. This one was a Saratoga Horticultural Foundation introduction, very well suited for the home garden. Sun to part shade is fine, moderate water to establish, but then quite drought tolerant, although some summer water improves its appearance (and will give you more height).
Hope that helps!
