'Further to' Alessandra's
recommendations:
1. Lady W's book is reviewed extensively and
admiringly in the current (autumn) issue of Hortus.
2. Has anyone come across a (recent) (expensive)
book on the (botanic?) garden at/of Les Cedres? If so, opinions? Of both book
and also of course of the garden (which I don't know).
(And details of author and publisher if possible,
please. My information was Chinese-whisper-blurred and I only got the idea of
(a) the subject, (b) the price (large), (c) the quality (ditto).

on the n/w shore of the UK where (quick subject
change) D. imperialis made all of four feet this non-summer summer! - And
even those four feet were eaten by something - caterpillars? aphids? ie, leaves
both holed *and* distorted.
