Restoration Talk Tonight in Northern California


For those in the San Francisco Bay Area, particularly the peninsula and south
bay areas, the Western Horticultural Society meeting tonight will feature Betty
Young, Director of Nurseries for Golden Gate National Parks.  She will be
speaking on Landscape Restoration in our Area Parks.  She will address
eradication of invasives, collecting native seed, growing and planting natives
in the 80,000 acres of parks that stretch from Marin County south to the
peninsula.

The meeting is free and visitors are welcome.  The doors open at 7:00 and the
talk starts at 7:30.

Covington School multipupose room
205 Covington Road in Los Altos

The school is located almost directly on the corner of El Monte and Covington,
one block from the intersection of Foothill Expressway and El Monte.  From
Highway 280, go east on the El Monte exit, cross Foothill and turn right onto
Fremont and immediately left onto Covington.
