I have a white form which I originally obtained from seed from Chiltern
Seeds in the UK. The one I have grows to about 1m or a little more high
whereas the orange only reaches about 80cm. It is a pleasing but slighly
creamy white. I find it to be hardier than the orange as it has survived in
the open ground for four winters (including temps down to -10°C) now whereas
I have to overwinter the orange by cuttings in a cold greenhouse, as I do
with L nepetifolia also. The disadvantage is that it comes into flower much
later, typically mid Nov rather than July with the orange so the first blast
of frost will cut short the flowering season!
