I too am fond of this tree, but I think I actually prefer the purple
leaved version 'Burgandy Lace' (spectacular if viewed with the late afternoon sun behind it).
Both are very neat and tidy trees with a light but shady canopy and
would be just right I should think to provide shade for a path.
