NZ Gardens

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions about NZ gardens for my friends to visit - and for other Things To Do they should add to their list (such as wine-tasting!). The site Moira recommended at www.gardens.org.nz is particularly comprehensive: full of fascinating gardens and detailed information about them. (One of the most attractive-looking and historically interesting, named Gwervas, is owned by the NZ branch of the Hudson family, who also have a splendid garden in Cornwall in the UK . Its name is Tregrehan, it's open to the public, and is well worth adding to the Places To Visit list of anyone doing in the UK what my lucky friends will soon be doing in NZ.)
