I acquired a specimen of this recently. Its a lovely little shrub looking
like a cross between a Romneya & Eschscholzia with a beautiful, clear yellow
, single poppy type flower. I think it is called a Mexican Poppy.
My reference ( RHS Encyclopedia ) describes it as a perennial best treated
as an annual. Does anyone have experience with this species in a med.
climate & can advise on its flowering, treatment & possible lifespan. ?
My thanks in advance.
