I like it because i think it has a nice form, and gives the grasslands
some interest. Its flowering right now and looks fuzzy with its seeds
and their "plumes" out. Unfortunately near the Marina airport (Formerly
Fritsche Airfield), some farmer bought a large grassland and turned it
into farmland (i wonder what he intends to grow since the soil there is
mainly sand, and not the fertile soil in the salinas valley below!).
There used to be hundreds of Coyote bushes there too.
