Re: Pomegranates


I have read that in Iran the people will rub a whole, intact pomegranate to
release the juice from the seeds and then stick a straw into the intact
pomegranate to drink the juice. I guess the key is to press firmly enough to
cause the juice to separate from the seeds without pressing so hard that the
pomegranate splits open.

Has anyone heard of this?
Anyone tried this?
