Re: Rosemary


I've had good luck with cuttings from 'Tuscan Blue'.  I think success varies
a lot from variety to variety--some just don't like to be propagated.
(There are also some plants that just don't like me, period).  I took a
bunch of 2-3 inch tip cuttings in the summer, stripped off the lower leaves,
dipped the bottoms in powdered rooting hormone, and stuck them in pots of
sand.  By the next spring about half had good root systems and could be
moved into larger pots.
