Re: wrong ID - Streptocarpus?


Diane, I have three hanging pots of what I believe is Streptocarpus
caulescens. It has the purple/blue flowers. I have trouble keeping the
leaves of two of them dark green; after applications of water and
fertiliser one is now much better and flowering better too, but the
other, in a rather small pot, remains light-green. I think it has to do
with water and perhaps fertiliser. They also seem to prefer not too much
strong sun (such as we get here under the ozone hole).
