best site for ID of plants

If I have the name of a plant, I search on Google (
http://www.google.com/ ) and click "I'm feeling lucky" which takes me
to what Google considers the best site. Usually it's right. This
time, I searched on what you suggested: Princess flower, and Google
took me to a discussion on growing it in California:

Monterey Bay Nursery has a website with lots of pictures:

If I know a plant is a California native, I really like CalPhotos

Just substitute the name of the plant you want information on, making
sure you have a + between genus and species.
